SweetBliss is what happens when perfect happiness is dipped in chocolate!

Ilene C. Shane, Ralph Lauren’s former and longtime personal chef, creates chocolate indulgences so rich and delicious they will lead to moment of ecstasy.  Ilene creatively uses her nostalgia for classic confections and reinvents them using high-quality Belgian chocolate.  With well-developed instincts for flavor, she takes old-time, handmade favorite ingredients such as peanut butter, marshmallow and caramel to craft sumptuous chocolates that are both familiar and completely original.

A Short History of SweetBliss

While working as Ralph Lauren’s private chef, Ilene discovered the joy of sharing her culinary talent.  Ralph and his family loved her Almond Burttercrunch so much that they asked her to make it as holiday gifts and encouraged her to market it.

Ilene and Iris Libby have been friends since the early 1980’s.  It was only a matter of time before Iris’ entrepreneurial savvy and Ilene’s culinary triumphs became the foundation for a dynamic business venture. 

In February of 2002 SweetBliss launched its first product at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.  Since then, Ilene the mastermind has been working in her kitchen to continue to stir up new combinations of textures and tastes, making SweetBliss a favorite name in the new generation of artisanal chocolate makers.
